Assassins Creed Brotherhood is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft in 2011. Gameplay

Ezio travels to Rome to strike at the heart of the Templar Order and liberate the city from their corruption. Along the way, he meets new allies and enemies, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolò Machiavelli, Caterina Sforza, Cesare Borgia, Lucrezia Borgia, Rodrigo Borgia (also known as Pope Alexander VI), and Desmond Miles.
The game also features flashbacks to the life of Ezio's ancestor Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, who was the protagonist of the first Assassins Creed game. Altaïr's memories are accessed through a device called the Masyaf Keys, which are hidden in various locations in Rome. The flashbacks reveal Altaïr's fate after the events of the first game and his relationship with his wife Maria and his son Darim.
