The harmonies are tuned at one fixed frequency but can be made to move in pitch via additive microtonal control. This feature allows you to simulate the effects of various tunings, such as Arabic or microtonal tunings.
You can also take the harmony voice that is producing the original note and break it apart into a bitmap to be overlaid on a loop's audio track with the uses a track's volume envelope to control the amount of the overlaid bitmap.
The school of harmonics features an easy to use MIDI interface, allows you to play notes from both the keyboard and controller using MIDI CCs, and even the envelope with MIDI velocity CCs. The learning mode is also available to teach the vocal character of the harmonies without having to play notes. The harmonics also allows you to use the arpeggiator to play chords while singing to produce a unique chordal feel.
