Plot

The film begins with Kimberly Caldwell, a contestant on the reality show "Ultimate Survivalist: The Apocalypse", driving through the woods of West Virginia. She stops at a gas station, where she meets an old man named Maynard, who warns her about the dangers of the woods. She ignores him and drives away, but is soon attacked and killed by one of the mutants, Three Finger.

The next day, the show's host and producer, Dale Murphy (Henry Rollins), introduces the six remaining contestants: Nina (Erica Leerhsen), Jake (Texas Battle), Amber (Daniella Alonso), Jonesy (Steve Braun), Elena (Crystal Lowe), and Michael (Aleksa Palladino). They are divided into two teams and given instructions to find supplies in the woods. Along the way, they encounter various traps and obstacles set by the mutants.

Michael and Nina stumble upon an abandoned watchtower, where they find a radio and try to contact Dale. However, they are attacked by another mutant, Saw Tooth, who shoots Michael in the leg with an arrow. Nina manages to escape and runs into Dale, who has been looking for them. They decide to go back to the watchtower and rescue Michael.

Meanwhile, Jake and Amber find a barbed wire fence that leads them to an old military base. There, they discover that the mutants are the result of a chemical experiment gone wrong. They also find a captive Maynard, who reveals that he is the father of the mutants and that he lured them into the woods. He then frees himself and kills Amber with a knife. Jake fights back and escapes with Amber's body.

Jonesy and Elena find a cabin in the woods, where they decide to have sex. However, they are interrupted by another mutant, One Eye, who kills Elena with an axe. Jonesy runs away and hides in a nearby bunker, where he meets another contestant named Mara (Aleksandra Vujcic), who was presumed dead in the first episode. They try to escape through a tunnel, but are chased by One Eye.

Dale and Nina reach the watchtower and find Michael's body hanging from a tree. They are then attacked by Saw Tooth and Three Finger, who set fire to the watchtower. Dale manages to kill Saw Tooth with his own arrow, but is then killed by Three Finger with a machete. Nina jumps from the watchtower and runs into Jake, who has been looking for her.

Jonesy and Mara make it to the other end of the tunnel, where they find a road. They flag down a car driven by a sheriff (Wayne Robson), who offers to help them. However, they soon realize that he is in cahoots with Maynard and the mutants. The sheriff shoots Jonesy in the head and takes Mara hostage.

Nina and Jake reach the gas station, where they find a truck with keys inside. They try to drive away, but are stopped by Maynard, who shoots at them with a shotgun. Nina gets out of the truck and fights with Maynard, while Jake runs over Three Finger with the truck. Nina then kills Maynard with his own shotgun.

Nina and Jake drive away from the gas station, thinking that they are safe. However, they are unaware that One Eye is hiding in the back of the truck. The film ends with One Eye grabbing Nina's hair as she screams.
